Metroxylon warburgii

Some say that while this is the smallest of the Metroxylons only getting up to about 30 feet in height with a trunk diameter of one foot it is the most beautiful with its deep green leaflets and leaves that are 10 feet long. It needs a rich humus filled soil and lots of water (this is a swamp palm) and shade or filtered light as a seedling or young plant.
